Vancouver
Vancouver wows guests with pristine parks, cultural and historical attractions, restaurants, professional sports action and shopping. If you’re feeling brave, you can walk across the 450-foot long Capilano Suspension Bridge, which sits 230 feet above the Capilano River. If you’re not into the heights thing, the Seawall might be more your pace. This waterfront path, with its stunning views of English Bay, is popular with walkers, joggers, and cyclists.
Victoria
Victoria is not only British Columbia’s capital city, but it is also a beautiful destination on the water. While here, you’ll have to spend some time in the Inner Harbour. From whale watching tours in the waters to watching performers and artists on land, Victoria’s Inner Harbour can help satisfy even the most discerning visitor. Also in Victoria is the park that just might have it all. At Beacon Hill Park, you can snap photos of gorgeous flowers or ocean waves, play lawn sports like cricket, or even check out the petting zoo.
Whistler and Blackcomb
Whistler and Blackcomb offer more than 200 trails to satisfy skiers and snowboarders of varying skill levels. Even in the non-winter seasons, the area is popular for hiking and biking. Ride the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola for an 11-minute ride in a glass-bottom gondola that gives you 360-degree view of the stunning landscape below.
Banff
Canada's first national park, Banff, also resides in the West. Head here for hiking, lake views, glacier views, and more. Located in Banff National Park is Banff Upper Hot Springs. Here you can soak in the steamy mineral water, relax, and enjoy some down time.
